Cynical Dog’s Pet Product Reviews
For years, I’ve wanted to update the CynicalDog domain and turn it into a pet product review site. It seemed a shame to waste such a great name on something other than pets, so I’m very happy that today I’m finally launching our pet product review blog. It will be a companion to my pet shopping blog at Bargains4Pets.com, and my personal/pet health blog at TheBlogPound.com. Obviously the place needs some sprucing up, and that will come in time. For now, let’s start the reviews!
I’d been searching for a pet door for my home that my big old rambuncious doberman Six and my little baby of a chihuahua Bananas could share, after looking at all kinds of different pet doors on a bunch of websites, I was getting pretty desperate and it seemed like such a ridiculous concept that I came this close to just giving up and putting one hole in my back door and also purchasing a patio pet door for my sliding glass...mind you this would have cost me about $500, not including installation costs!! Can you believe it? Well any way, I actually found this patio pet door on amazon.com, by a company called Pet 1 Product, and oh my gosh, it was a god send. It was a little bit on the pricey side, it ran about $450 with shipping. I ended up swallowing hard and putting down the money, but it actually worked out okay because what it lacked in cost efficiency, it definitely made up for in practicality. It was really easy to install, my husband and I did it together, and it looks really great, plus the best thing about it is that it has these magnetic panels that you can pop in and out and adjust the rise of the little door opening, so Six’s long legs don’t have to miss a stride, which is great because he has arthritis, and Banana’s doesn’t have to jump up to get over the rise because I can just adjust the rise for them both accordingly. Well I don’t know, this product worked out really nicely for me, and I didn’t have to cut any holes in my door, so yay! I hope this little review helps someone else out there who might be in the same predicament I was in.
I’ll post a web link so whomever wants to check it out can do so for themselves.Good Luck!
